Compensation Analyst - Plano, TXCenter for Autism and Related Disorders

Job Summary:

CARD is adding a compensation professional to its Total Rewards team to administer compensation programs for this multi-state employer with 4,000+ employees. In support of the Total Rewards program, participates in job design, position leveling and market pricing to evaluate positions in the organization. This position serves in a consultant capacity to leaders across CARD on compensation issues of external competitiveness, internal equity and compliance with the organization’s pay practices.

The position is located in Plano, Texas and is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the VP, Total Rewards and will work closely with a small team of compensation and benefits professionals.

Job Duties:

  • Complete market review, job evaluation and internal leveling of new and updated positions to ensure external competitiveness and internal equity.
  • Conduct market pricing research, benchmarking and analysis to make recommendations to management on base salary levels, appropriate grade assignment, total compensation opportunity, and/or hiring ranges for a given position.
  • Participate in external salary surveys, determining matches and submitting organization results.
  • Create spreadsheets and reports and presentations for compensation related projects and initiatives.
  • Partner with the HRIS team to implement and utilize Workday compensation capabilities.
  • Maintain job descriptions and conduct job analysis for positions to determine appropriate FLSA status and pay level.
  • Maintain federal and state pay requirements in the HRIS system.
  • Support administration of policies of the compensation programs to ensure programs follow established guidelines, processes, and procedures.
  • Support the administration of annual, quarterly and monthly incentive pay programs.
  • Support the administration of CARDs education and tuition assistance programs.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field
  • Three years of experience in human resources including experience in compensation
  • Equivalent job experience may substitute for the required degree on a year-for-year basis.
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP certification preferred
  • CCP certification or working towards CCP preferred

Preferred Education, Experience, or Skills:

  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP certification preferred
  • CCP certification or working towards CCP preferred

Work Conditions / Physical Requirements:

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Includes both a typical office environment, with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues, and occasional local and/or overnight travel. Mode of transportation for travel typically will include automobile and plane.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time.
