Job Summary:

HR Specialist responsible for administering company’s restricted stock and 401(k) program and supporting the HR manager in administration of the executive compensation program and preparation for Compensation Committee of the Board meetings. This includes analytical support, ongoing research, and the ability to present complex data in a concise and meaningful way.

Job Duties:

Stock Plan Administrator:

• Act as liaison with vendors (service providers, third-party administrators, transfer agent) and internal departments (payroll, finance)
• 401(k) Plan Administrator:
• Maintain up to date plan documents and ensure retirement plans meet ERISA regulations
• Partner with HR Manager on annual testing and audit
• Coordinate with recordkeeper and advisor team
• Executive Compensation Support:
• Support executive compensation program by providing benchmarking data, peer comparison through review of proxy and/or other annual filings, and ad-hoc analysis
• Assist HR Manager with public filings to include Annual 10(k) and Form 4 by providing timely and accurate data
• Assist HR Manager with Compensation Committee process to include maintaining calendar, preparing materials, and providing detailed analysis and supporting documentation.
• For all supported plans:
• Serve as a knowledge resource for employees’ questions and provide one on one education as needed
• Analyze, reconcile, and ensure accuracy of data on a regular basis; proactively identify problems and resolutions
• Stay up to date on local, state, and federal laws to ensure company compliance with all regulations and tax requirements
• Other duties and projects as assigned

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related area is required AND 2-4 years experience
