Developing the Future of North Texas Compensation Association!

The North Texas Compensation Association needs your help in shaping the future of the Association and of its members! Your Association succeeds & continues based upon the work of many volunteers. While NTCA brings programs, education and services to our members, we believe that it can be better.

To make it better, we’re looking for your service. Your investment of time can help determine the direction, purpose and value that NTCA brings to you and all its members.   Consider utilizes your talents on the NTCA board, committees or volunteering for a community service event.  

Board of directors

The Board of Directors is responsible for the overall planning and strategic direction of NTCA and oversees the general management and operations of the organization.

A non-profit corporation board of directors has three primary legal duties known as the “duty of care,” “duty of loyalty,” and “duty of obedience.”

A commitment of two years is typically required for each Board Member role and minimum of 10 hours monthly.

Volunteer Mentors do not need to be NTCA members and will receive complimentary invitations to NTCA lunch programs throughout the year.

Committee role

Committee Chair lead the Committee setting meeting times and agendas, communicating program offerings generated from the committee, responsible for generating topics for forums, gaining speakers for committee events and campaigning for interested parties within NTCA membership and external associated entities to join in contributing to the committee initiatives.

Committee Member will participate in the administration of the Committee, including attending committee meetings, generating ideas for initiatives, assisting the Committee Chair and the Board of Directors in executing the committee initiatives and campaigning for interested parties within NTCA membership as well as with external associated entities to join in contributing to the committee initiatives.
