The Army & Air Force Exchange Service is seeking a top talented individual to fill our Compensation Analyst III position located in the Duncanville area of the DFW Metroplex.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • PROVIDES SENIOR LEVEL SUPPORT IN ANALYSIS, DESIGN AND ADMINISTRATION OF ORGANIZATIONS COMPENSATION PROGRAMS INCLUDING JOB EVALUATIONS, MARKET PRICING, SALARY STRUCTURE, JOB GRADING, AND ORGANIZATIONAL DESIGN.
  • Complies with applicable directives, policies and procedures. Actively supports and implements applicable EEO laws and programs within the Exchange.
  • Assumes other related responsibilities as assigned.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • EVALUATES POSITIONS USING ESTABLISHED EVALUATION SYSTEMS, MAKES RECOMMENDATIONS ON JOB TITLES, GRADE LEVELS, AND INTERNAL/EXTERNAL MARKET ALIGNMENT.
  • PERFORMS MARKET SALARY COMPETITIVENESS STUDIES. DEVELOPS DATA SOURCES, CONDUCTS STATISTICAL ANALYSIS, AND PROVIDES RECOMMENDATIONS ON PAY STRATEGIES AND STRUCTURES. PARTICIPATES IN COMPENSATION SURVEYS.
  • ADMINISTERS MERIT AND BONUS PROGRAMS. TASKS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, FORMULATING PAY GUIDELINES/ELIGIBILITY RULES, DEVELOPING SYSTEMS, COST MODELING, REPORTING, AND COMMUNICATING DETAILS OF THE PROGRAMS.
  • RESEARCHES AND ANALYZES ORGANIZATIONAL, OCCUPATIONAL, AND INDUSTRY  DATA TO EVALUATE ORGANIZATION STRUCTURES FOR EFFECTIVENESS AND EFFICIENCY AND DEVELOP RECOMMENDATIONS ON LEVELS, REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS AND JOB TITLE ASSIGNMENT.
  • PERFORMS OTHER DUTIES AND PROJECTS AS ASSIGNED.

Qualification Requirements

5 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN HUMAN RESOURCES INCLUDING SUBSTANTIAL EXPERIENCE IN COMPENSATION AND/OR ORGANIZATION

DEVELOPMENT WITH STRONG ANALYTICAL AND SYSTEMS SKILLS.

OR

OR BACHELOR'S DEGREE PLUS 3 YEARS IN HUMAN RESOURCES INCLUDING SUBSTANTIAL EXPERIENCE IN COMPENSATION AND/OR

ORGANIZATION DEVELOPMENT WITH STRONG ANALYTICAL AND SYSTEMS SKILLS.

EXPERIENCE IN FEDERAL SECTOR IS PREFERRED.

Education

Degree (one of):

  • BACHELORS DEGREE - Preferred

Major/Minor (one of):

  • BUSINESS MANAGEMENT - Preferred
  • HUMAN RES MGMT - Preferred
  • MATHEMATICS - Preferred
  • STATISTICS - Preferred

Certificate/License (one of):

  • CERT COMP PROF (CCP) - Preferred
  • PROFESSIONAL IN HUMAN RESOURCES (PHR) - Preferred
  • SENIOR PROFESSIONAL IN HUMAN RESOURCES (SPHR) - Preferred

Experience

Technical (Preferred/Required Skills/Systems):
  • EXCEL-INTERMEDIATE LEVEL - Required
  • MICROSOFT POWERPOINT - Required
  • MICROSOFT WORD - Required
  • COMPUTER SYSTEMS/APPLICATIONS - Preferred
