This year marks North Texas Compensation Association 25th Anniversary and we've been making big changes for the future.&amp;nbsp;&lt;span style="background-color: transparent;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;font color="#000000" face="Tahoma, sans-serif"&gt;My commitment in 2018 was to get NTCA back on track financially, streamline inefficient operations and bring the organizations technology forward.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;I'm happy to announce the work done to gain better solutions is visible in our 2018 YTD financial numbers shown below.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

                        &lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 16px;" face="Trebuchet MS, Lucida Grande, Lucida Sans Unicode, Lucida Sans, Tahoma, sans-serif"&gt;&lt;span style="background-color: transparent;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;font color="#000000" face="Tahoma, sans-serif" style="font-size: 12px;"&gt;We implemented a membership system with new website that streamlined our operations, financial transactions and provided digital tool offerings to further membership engagement.&amp;nbsp; Strong business knowledge and the negotiating with venues on hosted certification courses and member luncheons along with replacing our digital platforms (G-Suite, Zoom) reduced expenses and still delivering value.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

                        &lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 16px;" face="Trebuchet MS, Lucida Grande, Lucida Sans Unicode, Lucida Sans, Tahoma, sans-serif"&gt;&lt;span style="background-color: transparent;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;font color="#000000" face="Tahoma, sans-serif" style="font-size: 12px;"&gt;In June, we changed our association management company, which is NTCA largest expense.&amp;nbsp; After 5 years with previous AMC and assessment of performance, value and costs it was time to make that change.&amp;nbsp; All the work happened through volunteers acting in the best interest for NTCA.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

                        &lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 16px;" face="Trebuchet MS, Lucida Grande, Lucida Sans Unicode, Lucida Sans, Tahoma, sans-serif"&gt;&lt;span style="background-color: transparent;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;font color="#000000" face="Tahoma, sans-serif" style="font-size: 12px;"&gt;We also wanted to understand what membership wanted; so, we launched the&amp;nbsp;&lt;a name="VOM" id="VOM"&gt;&lt;/a&gt;Voice of Membership survey to guide decisions around future programs/communications and value.&amp;nbsp; In addition, we launched a NTCA newsletter, Total Rewards Topics and Forums to promote engagement and information for membership.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

                        &lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 16px;" face="Trebuchet MS, Lucida Grande, Lucida Sans Unicode, Lucida Sans, Tahoma, sans-serif"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;font color="#000000" face="Tahoma, sans-serif" style="font-size: 12px;"&gt;In 4 months, I will complete my Presidency and will be moving onward.&amp;nbsp; Who in our membership will step up as the next President of NTCA?&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p align="justify"&gt;The President is r&lt;span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"&gt;esponsible for directing NTCA strategy and presides at membership and Board of Directors meetings. This position is the official spokesperson for NTCA and guides the directors and committees in carrying out the goals and objectives for NTCA. The President handles group public relations and the ongoing solicitation of new members.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

My name is Jenni Porshakin and have taken on the role as NTCA President for 2018.
